Hindi Film “Apna Amitabh” Trailer and Poster Launched on Amitabh Bachchan’s 82nd Birthday

Mumbai, October 14th – On the momentous occasion of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan’s 82nd birthday, the trailer and poster of the Hindi film Apna Amitabh were launched in a grand event at Oshiwara’s Banquet Hall, Andheri West. Produced under the banner of Classic Entertainment by Vikas Sharma and Raghvendra K., with writer and director Ajay Anand at the helm, the film pays homage to the enduring legacy of Amitabh Bachchan. The event was highlighted by a celebratory cake-cutting in honor of the superstar.

 

In a historic first, Apna Amitabh is a film dedicated to Amitabh Bachchan, celebrating his birthday with its trailer and poster launch. Prominent Bollywood personalities and media figures attended the event, offering praise for the film’s promising trailer and engaging poster.

 

Apna Amitabh follows the journey of Vijay, a young boy from a low caste who idolizes Amitabh Bachchan. Despite facing harsh societal discrimination, Vijay’s unwavering spirit highlights the deep-rooted issues of casteism and corruption in India. The film, shot in the picturesque village of Katni, Madhya Pradesh, delivers a powerful message through its gripping narrative and climactic conclusion.

 

The star-studded cast includes Vijay Rawal, Jay Dhakkar, Hemant Mohaur, Mukesh Bhatt, Amit Ghosh, and many others. The film’s music is composed by Rajesh Jha, with lyrics by Ajay Anand, and features the soulful voice of singer Shahid Mallya. The film’s cinematography is by Sambhu Sharma, with post-production led by Ahika Mishra.

 

Addressing the media, writer and director Ajay Anand shared his deep admiration for Amitabh Bachchan, which inspired him to create Apna Amitabh. He also emphasized that the film is not just a tribute to the Bollywood icon but also a commentary on pressing societal issues such as casteism and corruption.

 

Producer Vikas Sharma, making his Bollywood debut with Apna Amitabh, expressed pride in the film, calling it a heartfelt portrayal of Amitabh Bachchan’s fanbase. He added that the film’s themes resonate far beyond fandom, as it skillfully weaves in critical social messages.

 

The trailer of Apna Amitabh is available on Classic Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, and the film is set to release soon in cinemas across India and abroad.
